The beautiful Artevino and Maple Creek art nouveau influenced labels were designed by Tom Rodrigues, owner/artist/winemaker and feature his paintings. 
Maple Creek and Artevino wines are made from grapes that are farmed organically or sustainably. We are committed to being good stewards of the land. Plus, we believe that the grapes have more character and better flavors. |
 Maple Creek Vineyards features 12 acres of Chardonnay, Merlot and Symphony. These grapes thrive in the hot days and cool nights and grow in hillside clay, loam, and rocky soils. This unique combination creates the wonderfully rich and complex Maple Creek Wines. We also purchase grapes from a few local Mendocino County vineyards for our Artevino wines and we select these grapes based on the flavors, varietal growing conditions and sustainable vineyard practices of the grower. Maple Creek Ranch boasts 180 acres, 7 springs, organic gardens and fruit orchards. We have edible mushrooms and wild boar and wildlife and an abundance of fresh food and water on this land. We are sustainable and organic. Recently we fell five 100' fir trees that were dead and dying (of natural causes) and we milled the wood to be used for building a new winery in the future. The rest of the land is pasture land, indigenous oak trees, madrone trees, buckeyes and fir. And of course, we have two miles of Maple Creek running through the property. |
